Fleet Mechanic keeping a national safety services fleet operational across Raleigh, NC. You own preventative maintenance and repair for vehicles and equipment supporting AWP Safety's traffic control operations. What You'll Do6
- 1Perform preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles, including engine tune-ups, brake systems, and electrical devices.
- 2Inspect and test vehicles to keep equipment available for use, completing repairs on engine failures and mechanical/electrical malfunctions.
- 3Replace parts and components to restore vehicle function and maintain safety standards.
- 4Maintain fleet records and documentation, adhering to maintenance programs and procedures.
- 5Monitor vehicle equipment standards and uphold asset branding procedures.
- 6Support remote locations when needed, performing repairs and routine maintenance at assigned facilities or offsite.
Requirements8
- 1High School Diploma or GED completed.
- 21-2 years experience in related field preferred.
- 3Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
- 4Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- 5Valid Driver's License void of suspension or revocation, insurable per company policies.
- 6Ability to handle physical demands: lift or carry objects up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, perform strenuous labor in adverse conditions.
- 7Frequent exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and high noise levels in the Body Shop.
- 8Good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination.
