Overview
You will perform a wide range of vehicle services and repairs at a busy Chevrolet dealership in Woburn, MA, with top pay for transmission and engine specialists. The shop runs at high volume with endless work available, and you will use state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to resolve complex issues. What You'll Do7
- 1Perform services and repairs specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
- 2Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- 3Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- 4Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of any additional needed services.
- 5Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs to keep customers informed.
- 6Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications to ensure quality and compliance.
- 7Keep the shop clean and organized to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements8
- 12+ years of service technician experience preferred, with ASE certification required.
- 2B level qualifications in diagnostics, electrical, and engine repair, or A level in transmission and engine repair.
- 3Steady hand and excellent hand-eye coordination for precise mechanical work.
- 4Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, plus ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
- 5Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
- 6Positive, friendly attitude with eagerness to improve.
- 7Ability to collaborate effectively as a teammate.
- 8Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
