Overview

Part‑time Fitness Specialist leading group exercise and personal training for older adults at a Senior Living Community. This role offers a clear path to grow your caseload and hours while supporting wellness in a proactive, evidence‑based environment. Aqua class is included. Flexible schedule from 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM with opportunities to travel.

What You'll Do8

  • 1Grow the wellness program and drive resident engagement to increase group class participation and build a 1:1 and partner training client base
  • 2Collaborate with Physical and Occupational Therapists and Speech Language Pathologists to support holistic resident care
  • 3Educate residents families and power‑of‑attorney contacts on wellness benefits to boost participation
  • 4Travel to patient residences for house calls and expand services across additional communities
  • 5Own the development and delivery of fitness programming within a collaborative interdisciplinary team
  • 6Utilize telehealth/virtual care options to enhance flexibility and access
  • 7Drive revenue growth for FOX Wellness by autonomously managing client acquisition and retention
  • 8Maintain current CPR certification and proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital communication tools

Requirements7

  • 1Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science Kinesiology or Exercise Physiology or Certified Personal Trainer through ACSM NSCA NASM ACE ISSA
  • 25+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow (or strong relevant fitness training experience)
  • 3Physical ability to stoop sit bend lift climb stairs and drive a vehicle
  • 4Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive upper‑extremity movements
  • 5Strong communication skills to present wellness benefits to residents families and power‑of‑attorney contacts
  • 6Experience with Microsoft Office and basic documentation software
  • 7Willingness to obtain CPT certification if not already certified
