Fitness Instructor & Personal Trainer
Overview
You'll own resident fitness at a luxury Orlando property, designing and leading personal training and group classes that transform wellness outcomes. You'll report to the director, collaborate with a small on-site team, and deliver programs that stand out. This role blends hands-on coaching with program growth, all in a dynamic residential setting.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build individualized fitness plans for residents, using CPR/AED safety protocols and exercise science principles.
- 2Lead one-on-one and small-group sessions, demonstrating exercises with proper form and offering modifications.
- 3Implement group fitness programs that engage residents across age and fitness levels, driving participation.
- 4Schedule personal training appointments and promote facility usage to boost resident retention.
- 5Advise residents on fitness and health risks, using knowledge of exercise physiology.
- 6Maintain cleanliness of fitness areas and equipment, partnering with fellow staff.
- 7Track resident progress and adjust programs to meet evolving goals.
- 8Drive wellness incentives and events that build community spirit.
Requirements7
- 12+ years experience in personal training or group fitness instruction.
- 2Current CPR/AED certification required.
- 3Accredited personal training or group training certification required.
- 4Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or related field preferred.
- 5Proven ability to demonstrate exercises and movements safely and effectively.
- 6Excellent communication skills for one-on-one, small group, and large group settings.
- 7Skilled at tailoring programs for diverse age groups and fitness levels.
