We seek an energetic certified Wellness Specialist to design and lead engaging fitness programs for seniors at Hunters Woods at Trails Edge. What You'll Do7
- 1Lead group fitness classes such as strength training balance flexibility stretching chair exercise and low-impact cardio
- 2Develop fitness programming appropriate for varying ability levels
- 3Manage the community fitness center overseeing equipment safety and resident instruction
- 4Ensure resident safety by modifying exercises and conducting basic wellness assessments
- 5Encourage participation build positive relationships and support community wellness events
- 6Maintain accurate attendance and participation records uphold safety standards and emergency protocols
- 7Demonstrate exercises properly and assist residents safely when needed
Requirements5
- 15+ years building fitness programs with Spark and Airflow
- 2CPC Card certification required
- 3Strong communication and motivational skills for seniors
- 4Passion for working with older adults and adapting programming to individual needs
- 5Ability to lift light equipment and move throughout the community
Salary Insight
$52 - $62k per year
