The Fitness Operations Attendant owns daily front desk and facility operations at HonorHealth's Medical Fitness Center, serving members and guests across the greater Phoenix area. This role ensures a safe, clean, and welcoming environment while supporting medically integrated fitness programming. The attendant acts as the primary point of contact, managing check-ins, transactions, and member accounts with fitness software. Working within a nonprofit healthcare system, they collaborate with clinical and maintenance teams to keep the facility operational. What You'll Do8
- 1Greet and check in members, ensuring accurate attendance tracking and a welcoming first impression.
- 2Process point-of-sale transactions and manage member accounts using fitness software.
- 3Open and close the facility per department policy, securing all areas and systems.
- 4Maintain cleanliness and organization across facility spaces, including restocking towels, cleaning wipes, and supplies.
- 5Perform regular walkthroughs to identify and resolve cleanliness or safety issues, filing incident reports as needed.
- 6Support emergency response activities in accordance with established facility policies.
- 7Coordinate with maintenance staff for repairs and report equipment issues promptly.
- 8Assist with medically integrated fitness programming and reinforce customer service standards for members and guests.
Requirements8
- 1High School Diploma required; Associates preferred.
- 21 year of customer service or facility operations experience preferred.
- 31 year in a fitness or medical fitness environment preferred.
- 4CPR/AED certification required.
- 5BLS certification required.
- 6Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- 7Proficiency with fitness software and point-of-sale systems preferred.
- 8Strong communication and interpersonal skills for member interaction.
