Firmware Engineer (Rust) at ARC ENT
Overview
You will own the firmware for a new high-frequency power conversion system at a venture-backed hardware startup in San Francisco. You will write Rust on resource-constrained microcontrollers, design control loops that run in real time, and build the test infrastructure that validates hardware. You will debug with an oscilloscope as often as a debugger, working close to switching hardware. This role stands out because you will shape the software from the ground up and see it ship in a physical product.
What You'll Do7
- 1Write Rust firmware for microcontrollers with tight memory and timing budgets.
- 2Design and validate high-frequency power electronics control loops on real switching hardware.
- 3Build the software integration for automated hardware test suites.
