- 9Maintain accurate financial records in EHR and practice management systems
- 10Monitor patient accounts for outstanding balances and follow up
- 11Identify payment barriers and escalate concerns to leadership
Requirements11
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2Minimum 2-3 years experience in healthcare financial counseling medical billing or revenue cycle operations
- 3Knowledge of Medicare Medicaid and commercial insurance plans
- 4Strong understanding of patient financial responsibility and collections processes
- 5Experience with EHR and practice management systems
- 6Excellent communication and customer service skills
- 7Certification in healthcare financial services or revenue cycle such as CHAA CRCS or similar
- 82-3 years experience in oncology or specialty healthcare settings
- 9Knowledge of oncology-specific financial assistance programs co-pay cards and foundations
- 10Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- 11Attention to detail and accuracy
