What You'll Do6
- 1Demonstrate strong knowledge of healthcare insurance focusing on Medicare Medicaid and commercial payers to interpret benefit structures
- 2Manage Oncology Patient Assistance Programs including enrollment and claim submission for foundation and manufacturer programs
- 3Analyze hospital and physician claims to determine patient responsibility and coordinate supplemental financial support
- 4Communicate with Medical Oncology teams to resolve verification and registration issues
- 5Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Excel and multi-system navigation for tracking patient financial assistance
- 6Ensure HIPAA compliance while managing sensitive patient financial data
Requirements8
- 1Thorough understanding of Medicare Medicaid and commercial insurance plans with ability to interpret complex benefit structures
- 2Proficiency in Oncology Patient Assistance Programs including enrollment and application processes
- 3Knowledge of state and federal financial assistance programs such as Adult Category Healthy Horizons BCCPT Emergency MA and MAWD
- 4Ability to analyze claims and determine patient responsibility with accurate documentation
- 5Strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel and electronic medical records systems
- 6High volume time-sensitive environment management with exceptional organization
- 7Professional patient-centered communication skills for complex financial discussions
