Financial Analyst – AR/AP Sales & Operations Reporting
Overview
Global Packaging Supply seeks a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to transform data into clear reports for management. This hands-on role supports the CFO and accounting team by reviewing financial and operational data. The ideal candidate works with real company data to identify inconsistencies and provide actionable insights. It emphasizes practical analysis in a manufacturing and distribution setting.
What You'll Do11
- 1Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial and operational reports for the CFO and management
- 2Review and analyze sales gross margin customer product and vendor data
- 3Analyze accounts receivable aging customer payment trends collection status and discrepancies
- 4Review accounts payable activity vendor balances expense trends coding and payment timing
- 5Identify unusual transactions missing information duplicate entries coding issues and reporting inconsistencies
- 6Support monthly reporting account reconciliations variance analysis and management summaries
- 7Pull organize and reconcile data from NetSuite or similar ERP systems
- 8Build and maintain Excel reports trackers analytical schedules and management dashboards
- 9Assist management with cash-flow visibility customer profitability product margins and inventory reporting
- 10Compare financial and operational data from multiple sources and investigate material discrepancies
- 11Work with accounting sales customer service warehouse and operations personnel to resolve reporting questions
Requirements11
- 12+ years of experience in accounting finance financial analysis or accounting operations
- 2Experience reviewing AR AP sales expenses account reconciliations or similar data
- 3Strong Microsoft Excel skills including formulas pivot tables lookups filters and data reconciliation
- 4Ability to interpret and analyze accounting and operational reports
- 5High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- 6Professional written and verbal communication skills
- 7Ability to handle confidential financial and business information appropriately
- 8Full-time onsite availability at the Hayward location
- 9NetSuite experience is strongly preferred
- 10Manufacturing distribution wholesale packaging or inventory-based business background
- 11Analytical organizational and problem-solving skills
