Accounting Manager, Bilingual Mandarin & NetSuite ERP
Overview
You will own the month-end close and financial reporting for a fast-growing digital health company. iHealth Labs is a leading provider of cloud-connected medical devices and home-based tests, with a mission to make quality health management accessible. As Accounting Manager, you will supervise a team of 2-3 accountants, ensure U.S. GAAP compliance, and drive cross-functional initiatives to improve the accuracy and speed of financial information. Based in Sunnyvale, CA, you will work on-site 5 days per week, partnering with FP&A and leading process improvements using NetSuite and automation. This role offers the chance to shape financial operations during a period of rapid expansion, with a competitive salary range of $120,000-$150,000.
What You'll Do9
- 1Coordinate all close activities (AP, AR, inventory, R&D, fixed assets, accruals) and prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules within the close window.
- 2Produce timely balance-sheet, income-statement, and cash-flow reports, analyzing variances versus budget/forecast and highlighting key business drivers.
- 3Deliver monthly and quarterly management reporting packages to stakeholders.
- 4Design, document, and test SOX-aligned controls, ensuring adherence to U.S. GAAP, tax rules, and company policies.
- 5Coordinate external audits and regulatory examinations, mitigating financial-statement risk.
- 6Optimize NetSuite ERP workflows and automate reconciliations to shorten the close cycle.
- 7Lead finance-related projects, including new module implementations and system integrations.
- 8Supervise and mentor 2-3 accountants, setting goals, providing feedback, and delivering training on technical accounting topics.
- 9Partner with FP&A on budgeting and forecasting, and prepare technical accounting memos for investment due-diligence.
Requirements10
- 16-8 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years leading a team.
- 2Active CPA license or in process.
- 3Proven ownership of month-end close and financial-statement preparation in a U.S. GAAP environment.
- 4Hands-on ERP experience, with NetSuite strongly preferred.
- 5Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with BI/reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- 6Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- 7Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with effective cross-department partnership.
- 8Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
- 9Big 4 or large regional public-accounting background preferred.
- 10Industry experience in medical devices, e-commerce, or manufacturing preferred
