Overview
You will own the field service experience for luxury custom steel windows and doors across the nation. You will diagnose and repair high-end fenestration at client sites, manage your own travel schedule, and report to the Atlanta team. You will work independently with a company vehicle and power tools. This role offers variety and autonomy for a technician who takes pride in precise work.
What You'll Do8
- 1Diagnose and repair custom steel windows and doors at client locations nationwide
- 2Correct installation issues on premium thermally broken steel products
- 3Manage travel logistics (flights, hotels, rentals) using a company credit card
- 4Document service findings and actions in detailed reports
- 5Communicate resolution steps to clients and the Atlanta team
- 6Maintain a professional appearance and represent The French Steel Company in the field
- 7Coordinate with the Service Coordinator for scheduling and parts
- 8Uphold quality standards for every repair, ensuring customer satisfaction
Requirements7
- 13+ years installing and servicing doors and windows, with steel or high-end fenestration preferred
- 2Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- 3Own hand and power tools required for field service work
- 4Reside within 50 miles of midtown Atlanta
- 5Comfortable with frequent travel and hybrid field/office work
- 6Ability to lift and maneuver heavy glass and steel components
- 7Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
