Service Technician, Home Remodeling & Exteriors
Overview
You own the service side of Power Home Remodeling, handling field diagnostics and repairs for replacement windows, doors, vinyl siding, asphalt shingle roofing, and gutters. Working with minimal supervision, you confirm appointments, prepare materials, and resolve issues on the spot. What You'll Do7
- 1Confirm all scheduled services 1-2 days in advance to ensure readiness.
- 2Prepare equipment and materials before each appointment.
- 3Review customer details, service requirements, and special instructions beforehand.
- 4Perform each service efficiently and effectively, following OSHA 10 standards and safety protocols.
- 5Complete assigned services within designated timeframes, maintaining quality and workmanship.
- 6Seek ways to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction, and provide feedback.
- 7Communicate timely for issues that require further resolution or investigation.
Requirements5
- 1High School Diploma and 2-4 years related work experience in home remodeling, specific to windows, doors, siding, roofing, and gutters.
- 2Hold or obtain OSHA 10 certification and RRP Lead Renovator Certification (provided if not certified).
- 3Prioritize and manage time effectively, staying organized and self-motivated.
- 4Deliver great customer service and negotiate independently to resolve concerns in real time.
- 5Possess general knowledge of residential construction and hands-on experience.
