Overview
Lead a field operations team to coordinate information for project construction in Maryland. Report to Project Superintendent. This role owns project execution and ensures safety quality standards. Unique opportunity to shape field operations at Turner Construction.
What You'll Do9
- 1Perform line and grade work for building layout and control
- 2Assist in site safety program implementation
- 3Ensure subcontractor compliance with Turner safety standards
- 4Maintain contract documents and electronic web-based files
- 5Prepare Daily Construction Reports
- 6Review work accuracy against accepted tolerances
- 7Coordinate contract drawings specifications and shop drawings
- 8Assist in preparing project as-builts
- 9Promote Turner interests and related matters
Requirements10
- 12 years college education from accredited Engineering Construction program
- 2Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork ability
- 3Initiative and desire to learn
- 4Excellent verbal and written communication
- 5Proficiency with computer applications Microsoft suite
- 6Basic understanding of scheduling programs
- 7Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds
- 8Must view computer monitors and use keyboards regularly
- 9Frequent travel required both short and long distances
- 10Occasional on-site work at construction sites offices and venues
