Field Account Executive, K-12 Education Sales
Overview
You will own the full sales cycle for Kiddom's Southern California territory, building partnerships with K–12 district leaders. You will drive adoption of core instructional materials in Math, Science, and ELA, with a focus on Salesforce and Salesloft to manage pipeline. You will join a collaborative team of 10+ sales professionals and report to the Regional Sales Director. This role requires 30% travel and offers the chance to transform education through Kiddom's Learning Intelligence Technology.
What You'll Do7
- 1Build a pipeline of qualified district opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, and industry events.
- 2Lead discovery conversations with district stakeholders to uncover instructional priorities and purchasing needs.
- 3Deliver virtual and in-person product demonstrations connecting Kiddom's solutions to district goals.
- 4Own the sales process from initial outreach to negotiation and close, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- 5Develop and execute a territory plan across California, focusing on Math, Science, and ELA adoption.
- 6Travel throughout the territory 2–3 times per week to meet prospects and customers.
- 7Drive district adoption of core instructional materials by aligning Kiddom's platform with district needs.
Requirements7
- 18+ years of proven success in sales, particularly within K-12 education and curriculum.
- 28+ years owning and delivering against an annual sales target of up to $2M.
- 3Experience using Salesforce and Salesloft for pipeline management.
- 4Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to build credibility.
- 5Customer-centric approach skilled at uncovering priorities and developing long-term partnerships.
- 6Knowledge of the K-12 education landscape including district decision-making processes.
- 7Ability to travel up to 30% throughout California for customer meetings and conferences.
