Overview
You'll own the guest experience at Original ChopShop, a neighborhood eatery in Dallas, Texas, serving Just Feel-Good Food. You'll greet guests, prep and serve food, and ensure every visit feels warm and welcoming. You'll work with a tight-knit team of 8-10 people, backed by leadership that encourages growth. What You'll Do10
- 1Greet each guest with a genuine smile and a warm welcome, setting the tone for their visit.
- 2Prep and prepare food accurately, following recipes and portion standards to the letter.
- 3Deliver food from kitchen to table with a sense of urgency, a smile, and care for the guest's experience.
- 4Guide guests through menu options and anticipate their needs to exceed expectations.
- 5Conduct table touches or House Checks to ensure a clean, welcoming environment.
- 6Communicate clearly with team members to guarantee order accuracy and timing.
- 7Master multiple roles: front-of-house, guest service, and prep and production, as trained.
- 8Work each shift with purpose as a brand ambassador, living the ChopShop values.
- 9Keep your area clean and stocked, following all food safety and security practices.
- 10Thank guests for coming in and invite them back, creating memorable dining experiences.
Requirements10
- 11+ year of experience in fast casual or full-service dining.
- 2English fluency in speaking, reading, and writing.
- 3Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift at least 25 lbs.
- 4Food Handler's Card or ability to obtain one within 30 days.
- 5Positive attitude and genuine interest in serving others.
- 6Eagerness to learn multiple positions and adapt to changing needs.
- 7Reliability and punctuality for scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- 8Team player who believes happy team members create happy guests.
- 9Comfortable with POS systems and cash handling.
- 10CPR and First Aid certification preferred but not required.
