Overview
You will launch and grow your own Farmers Insurance agency in San Jose, with support from District 80 and the full backing of a top national brand. What You'll Do8
- 1Build and grow your Farmers agency by developing new business and delivering exceptional customer service.
- 2Prospect for clients through networking, referrals, community involvement, and business development activities.
- 3Conduct needs-based insurance reviews and recommend coverage with Farmers' personal, commercial, life, and specialty products.
- 4Recruit, hire, train, and lead a high-performing agency team.
- 5Establish referral partnerships with local businesses, real estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other professionals.
- 6Manage daily operations, driving growth and profitability with Farmers' technology and marketing tools.
- 7Participate in ongoing coaching and training through the University of Farmers and District 80.
- 8Represent the Farmers brand with professionalism and integrity in the community.
Requirements8
- 12+ years in sales, business development, management, or client-facing roles.
- 2Active California Property Casualty and Life Health licenses or willingness to obtain them.
- 3Access to at least $100,000 in liquid assets to meet financial eligibility.
- 4Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- 5Entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to build a successful business.
- 6Ability to recruit, develop, and lead a team.
- 7Comfortable networking within the local community.
- 8Pass successful background screening.
