Family Medicine PA/NP, Primary Care in Covington, WA
Overview
You will own primary care delivery for a diverse patient panel within a large not-for-profit healthcare system, serving 600,000+ residents. You join a collaborative team of MDs, PAs, and NPs with strong system-wide clinical support. Your practice includes same-day access, telehealth, and team visits. This role offers variety, flexibility, and participation in PSLF. You will work five 8-hour days with clinic hours 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
What You'll Do8
- 1Provide same-day access for in-person and telehealth visits, managing urgent walk-in concerns as Provider of the Day.
- 2Convert patient portal messages into telehealth or in-clinic visits, reducing response time.
- 3Cover same-day appointments when providers are out, ensuring continuity.
- 4Conduct team visits for new patients before they establish care, improving onboarding.
- 5Perform Medicare Advantage Annual Wellness Visits to meet preventive care goals.
- 6Assist with inbox management, triaging messages and tasks.
- 7Support the team as Provider of the Day, handling same-day urgent needs.
- 8Collaborate with physicians and nurses in a team-based care model.
Requirements6
- 1Open to new graduates with Washington State medical licensure eligibility.
- 2Hold DEA with full prescriptive authority.
- 3Family Medicine certification or experience (preferred).
- 4Comfort with telehealth and digital patient communication.
- 5Ability to work five 8-hour days, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
- 6Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care.
