Family Advocacy Surge Response Therapist LCSW LMFT RN
Overview
The organization is assembling a Surge Response Team to provide rapid crisis support at military installations. Team members may be activated within 12 hours and work 24/7 shifts as needed. The role involves clinical counseling, nursing support, victim advocacy, safety planning, and coordination with FAP and EFACs in high tempo emergencies. What You'll Do8
- 1Provide crisis intervention and clinical counseling to individuals and families
- 2Deliver nursing support and family assistance during crises
- 3Conduct assessments, referrals, and case management for trauma and maltreatment cases
- 4Lead or co-lead individual family and group interventions
- 5Collaborate with FAP personnel, military leadership, healthcare providers, and community agencies
- 6Maintain clinical documentation and ensure compliance with FAP and MTF standards
- 7Support EFACs, MTFs, and FAP facilities during surge periods
- 8Adapt rapidly to changing priorities in a high tempo emergency environment
Requirements10
- 1LCSW or LMFT license in good standing in the US
- 2Master's degree CSWE for LCSW or COAMFTE or equivalent for LMFT
- 3Minimum 2 years post-master's clinical experience
- 4Experience providing services to individuals and families affected by abuse or maltreatment
- 5Experience facilitating group therapy and working with children families or groups in clinical or community settings
- 6RN license in good standing with BSN
- 7Minimum 2 years nursing experience in community health maternal child health domestic violence or related areas
- 8Eligible for MTF credentials and privileges
- 9Must be able to respond within 12 hours of activation and work flexible 24/7 schedules
- 10Preferred: prior military or Air Force FAP experience and crisis intervention experience
