Facility Maintenance Associate at Connected Cannabis
Overview
You will own daily facility cleaning and sanitation across the Sacramento site, supporting production as needed. This role reports into the GM-Ops and Facility Coordinator, with a focus on compliance and SOP-driven practices. You will gain hands-on experience in the cannabis industry, with paid training and help securing your cannabis agent card. What You'll Do9
- 1Clean breakrooms, offices, conference rooms, storerooms, corridors, stairways, doormats, door handles, and other general areas using brooms, mops, and lightweight vacuum cleaners.
- 2Wash sinks, empty green waste and trash, and scrub floors to maintain a hygienic environment.
- 3Disinfect entire restrooms with disinfectants and bathroom cleaners, restock supplies, remove trash, clean fixtures, mirrors, and dispensers, then sweep and wet mop floors.
- 4Track and communicate cleaning supply levels to the department, ensuring stock stays adequate for daily operations.
- 5Properly clean and store all equipment and supplies after each use.
- 6Support production by cleaning and sanitizing totes, dry racks, and rooms to prepare for harvest and shuck operations.
- 7Adjust sanitation practices to stay aligned with SOPs, Compliance, and Regulatory changes as needed.
- 8Report facility maintenance needs to the GM-Ops and Facility Coordinator immediately when encountered.
- 9Assist with production duties during downtime, including maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Requirements7
- 1Previous sanitation or related experience preferred.
- 2Must be 21+ and able to work between 6:00am - 6:00pm Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime.
- 3Proven record of dependability and punctuality in past roles.
- 4Ability to work independently and take initiative while adapting to changing priorities.
- 5Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple cleaning tasks efficiently.
- 6Must obtain a cannabis agent card (company facilitates the process).
- 7Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
