Overview
We seek a knowledgeable Cultivation Associate to join our licensed cannabis manufacturing facility. The role involves maintaining plant health and ensuring compliance while maximizing crop quality and yield. This position requires dedication to patient-first education and access expansion.
What You'll Do12
- 1Monitor and maintain plant health throughout all growth stages
- 2Execute daily cultivation tasks including watering feeding pruning and plant maintenance
- 3Follow nutrient schedules and mixing protocols
- 4Identify and report any signs of pests disease or plant health issues
- 5Maintain detailed cultivation records in compliance with state regulations
- 6Perform plant maintenance including defoliation topping and training
- 7Support harvesting and processing activities
- 8Clean and sanitize growing areas according to protocols
- 9Maintain mother plants and support cloning operations
- 10Monitor and maintain irrigation systems
- 11Follow integrated pest management IPM protocols
- 12Support tissue culture and genetic preservation programs
Requirements18
- 1Must be 21 years of age or older
- 2Ability to obtain and maintain required state badges permits for cannabis industry work background check
- 31+ year of commercial cultivation experience cannabis preferred
- 4Understanding of environmental control systems
- 5Reliable transportation
- 6Strong attention to detail basic computer skills
- 7Previous commercial cannabis cultivation experience
- 8Knowledge of state cannabis regulations
- 9Experience with environmental control systems
- 10Technical knowledge of plant nutrition and feeding schedules
- 11Pest and disease identification
- 12Compliance requirements data entry and record keeping
- 13Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- 14Stand/walk for extended periods work in various temperature and humidity conditions climb ladders and reach overhead bend stoop and kneel frequently manual dexterity for plant care
- 15Tolerance for bright lighting conditions
- 16Work environment indoor cultivation facility various temperature and humidity conditions exposure to bright lights regular exposure to fertilizers and cleaning agents must wear PPE as required climate-controlled environments some exposure to agricultural products
- 17Schedule full-time position may include weekends and holidays flexibility needed for plant care needs Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm
