As a Facilities Mechanical Technician at Intel, you will maintain and optimize state-of-the-art facilities ensuring reliability and safety of mechanical systems. This role supports Intel's mission to shape technology through sustainable practices and drives continuous improvement in facility operations.
What You'll Do9
- 1Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems including HVAC plumbing and process equipment
- 2Troubleshoot and resolve issues with industrial systems such as pumps piping air handlers boilers and chillers
- 3Conduct routine inspections to ensure regulatory compliance focusing on safety and environmental standards
- 4Assist in design analysis and enhancement of mechanical systems to optimize performance and reliability
- 5Partner with internal customers to deliver engineering solutions supporting facility operations and manufacturing processes
- 6Support development of mechanical systems roadmaps ensuring capacity and redundancy for expansion projects
- 7Provide technical input for design documentation testing and prototype fabrication
- 8Drive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and implementing innovative solutions
- 9Work shift 5 AM PM Tuesdays and alternating Wednesdays
Requirements8
- 1Associate of Arts Science degree or Trade Certification in HVAC Mechanical Chemical Facilities Maintenance Technology or related field plus 6+ years relevant experience
- 26+ years experience in Mechanical Systems HVAC Refrigeration Water Treatment Electrical Power or related facilities maintenance roles
- 36+ years experience in industrial mechanical systems including HVAC chilled and heating water systems air handlers pumps and piping
- 4Experience troubleshooting and repairing various mechanical equipment and systems
- 5Preferred experience with VOC scrubber and exhaust system maintenance
- 6EPA 608 Universal Certification
- 7Minimum 5+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 8Shift availability 5 AM PM Tuesdays and alternating Wednesdays
Salary Insight
$85 - $120k per year
