What You'll Do11
- 1Oversee maintenance including preventative tasks and repairs for electrical HVAC plumbing systems
- 2Complete administrative paperwork related to maintenance and licensing
- 3Maintain facility cleanliness through proactive cleaning and issue resolution
- 4Supervise staff providing guidance in mechanical plumbing and appliance repair
- 5Prepare financial reports and monitor departmental budget
- 6Ensure regulatory compliance and manage service contracts
- 7Coordinate safety drills and emergency procedures training
- 8Recommend staff training and development initiatives
- 9Negotiate facility and system contracts
- 10Handle emergency call for building systems
- 11Assist in preparing reports and aligning operations with YWCA mission
Requirements10
- 1High School Diploma or GED required
- 2Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management Engineering Business Administration preferred
- 3Certifications such as CFM FMP OSHA EPA 608 or CPO strongly preferred
- 4Minimum 7-10 years progressive experience in commercial facilities maintenance
- 5At least 5 years supervisory experience with budgeting and vendor management
- 6Strong knowledge of electrical plumbing HVAC and building codes
- 7Ability to interpret blueprints and manage CMMS systems
- 8Proficiency in communication leadership and conflict resolution
- 9Experience with emergency preparedness and risk management
- 10Physical stamina to stand walk and lift up to 50 pounds
