What You'll Do11

  • 1Identify diagnose and resolve daily maintenance repairs for electrical plumbing construction and equipment
  • 2Develop maintenance plans for building management addressing recurring issues
  • 3Ensure 100% compliance with health and safety regulations
  • 4Provide daily reports with action plans and document site damage
  • 5Manage vendor relationships negotiate contracts and process invoices
  • 6Act as liaison between contractors and management for project completion
  • 7Operate safeguard technical assets including lighting sound and stage facilities
  • 8Assist with production budget control and coordinate inventory of tools and supplies
  • 9Communicate physical changes to Facilities and Production leadership for approvals
  • 10Support hiring of Facilities and Maintenance staff and provide on-the-floor supervision
  • 11Provide leadership during installation periods and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements6

  • 15+ years building facilities experience including technical engineering operations
  • 2Comfortable handling heavy equipment and using CAD or 3D printing tools
  • 3Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles
  • 4Excellent verbal and written communication skills bilingual ability preferred
  • 5Experience with facilities management software and vendor coordination
  • 6Ability to lead teams and manage projects across all museum dayparts
