- 1Assist skilled workers with repairs and maintenance tasks
- 2Inspect building exteriors and interiors for safety issues
- 3Detect and report major structural repairs needed
- 4Complete repairs as directed on work orders
- 5Maintain exterior property and grounds
- 6Relocate and assemble furniture and playground equipment
- 7Install door and window assemblies and hardware
- 8Install ceiling and flooring materials
- 9Install lighting fixtures and bulbs
- 10Operate light truck for transporting equipment
- 11Drive safely following state laws and church protocols
- 12Operate tools and equipment according to safety procedures
- 13Correct unsafe conditions and report hazards
- 14Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
- 15Follow safety practices when lifting and climbing
- 16Complete daily maintenance reports
- 17Assume shift lead duties when supervisors are absent
Requirements8
- 11 year experience in general building maintenance
- 2Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3Exposure to heights up to 100ft
- 4Ability to operate ladders and powered lift equipment
- 5Strong communication skills
- 6Willingness to learn and train others
- 7Self-motivated and proactive attitude
