Overview
Part-Time Facilities Manager oversees campus operations and maintenance. This role begins as a part-time position with growth potential to full-time. The ideal candidate takes ownership of the physical campus and ensures a safe welcoming environment for ministry.
What You'll Do16
- 1Oversee day-to-day operation and general maintenance of the church campus
- 2Perform routine inspections of building equipment and grounds
- 3Complete basic repairs and coordinate outside contractors for specialized work
- 4Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules for systems
- 5Monitor HVAC plumbing electrical lighting doors locks and other facility systems
- 6Coordinate with Operations Manager regarding scheduling and facility access
- 7Identify facility issues proactively and ensure timely repairs
- 8Maintain organized inventory of tools equipment supplies and replacements
- 9Respond to urgent facility issues as needed
- 10Oversee property and grounds maintenance including landscaping snow removal
- 11Ensure parking lots sidewalks exterior lighting signage drainage and entrances remain safe and welcoming
- 12Set up and take down tables chairs furniture and equipment for services and events
- 13Assist staff and ministry teams with physical and logistical needs
- 14Help receive move assemble install or organize furniture and supplies
- 15Respond to unexpected facility needs and troubleshoot problems
- 16Support facility projects and campus improvements as needed
Requirements13
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 25+ years experience with AWS Certified
- 35+ years constructing Kubernetes clusters
- 43-5 seasons managing grounds and exterior operations
- 53-5 seasons leading facility teams
- 65+ years maintaining HVAC plumbing electrical systems
- 7General working knowledge of building maintenance and basic mechanical systems
- 8Ability to perform basic repairs and know when to call professionals
- 9Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- 10Effective communication with staff volunteers vendors and contractors
- 11Self-motivated problem solver who works independently
- 12Dependable availability for evenings weekends Sundays and urgent needs
- 13Physical stamina for lifting moving tables chairs furniture and climbing ladders
