What You'll Do10
- 1Build and repair vehicles across systems including engines, transmissions, electrical, HVAC, steering and suspension
- 2Document work on repair orders and communicate with service advisors to align expectations
- 3Perform multi-point inspections and road tests to verify quality and safety
- 4Maintain proficiency per Asbury standards and complete warranty claims
- 5Participate in manufacturer training programs to expand knowledge of new technology
- 6adhere to federal state and local regulations including safety and environmental requirements
- 7Ensure customer vehicles are returned clean and in good condition
- 8Support team with repetitive tasks and complex repairs as needed
- 9Report safety or integrity concerns to management
- 10Maintain and utilize tools and manufacturer certifications to complete repairs
Requirements5
- 1Must have basic tools and be able to pass pre-employment checks
- 2Minimum eighteen years of age and valid driver’s license
- 3Excellent technical and mechanical skills and being a team player
- 4ASE certifications heavily preferred or manufacturer certifications heavily preferred
- 5Previous automotive technician experience required
