What You'll Do19
- 1Align staff and volunteer efforts with the Center for Community Well-Being strategy framework
- 2Develop and implement annual operating plans with measurable goals
- 3Manage daily facility operations and program activities
- 4Address performance gaps through targeted task force initiatives
- 5Promote YMCA initiatives within the local community
- 6Direct financial development campaigns and major donor cultivation
- 7Create long-range capital development plans for facility maintenance
- 8Oversee staff recruitment using structured screening processes
- 9Maintain development plans and allocate training resources
- 10Direct center budgeting and ensure fiscal targets are achieved
- 11Foster member engagement through relationship-based strategies
- 12Serve as staff officer to the Center Board of Managers
- 13Lead board development efforts to enhance strategic capacity
- 14Ensure committees have appropriate leadership aligned with strategic goals
- 15Facilitate board evaluations and performance monitoring
- 16Innovate member-focused programs supporting Y mission
- 17Maintain facility safety and operational excellence
- 18Direct marketing communications to showcase community benefits

Requirements8
- 1Bachelor's degree in human services social services business or equivalent
- 2Ten or more years of executive management experience in multi-site nonprofit settings
- 3Proven success securing capital development donations for major projects
- 4Track record managing operational budgets exceeding $8 million
- 5Demonstrated fundraising portfolio development of $1 million or more
- 6Experience recruiting and developing top community leaders
- 7Certification in YMCA Multi-Team or Center Leader programs preferred
- 8Physical ability to perform essential job functions with reasonable accommodations
