Overview
Lead the cross-functional asset team for immunology programs, shaping strategy from early development through commercialization. Drive asset vision, lifecycle planning, and enterprise-level decisions across multiple indications. Report jointly to Commercial and Development Therapeutic Area Heads, and serve as the primary liaison to senior leadership. This role demands expertise in navigating complexity and delivering high-impact outcomes.
What You'll Do9
- 1Define and drive integrated asset strategies spanning development, regulatory, manufacturing, and commercialization for immunology assets.
- 2Shape lifecycle planning across multiple indications and combination therapies, including Go/No-Go milestones.
- 3Lead global, matrixed teams without direct authority, aligning Development, Commercial, and Technical functions.
- 4Create clarity of roles, accountability, and decision-making across the asset team.
- 5Own delivery of asset milestones, ensuring alignment to Target Product Profile (TPP) and Lifecycle Plan (LCP).
- 6Partner with Project Management to manage timelines, risks, and resources.
- 7Serve as the primary liaison to senior leadership and governance bodies, synthesizing insights into clear recommendations.
- 8Collaborate with Therapeutic Area Heads and Business Development to shape broader disease area strategies.
- 9Communicate program health, risks, and opportunities with transparency and impact.
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor's Degree and 14+ years experience, or Master's Degree and 12+ years, or PhD and 12+ years.
- 212+ years biopharmaceutical industry experience, with at least 8 years in relevant roles within biotech/pharma.
- 3Comprehensive knowledge of drug development process, including commercial launches and program/asset strategy teams.
- 4Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing without authority.
- 5Advanced degrees such as PhD, MD, or MBA preferred.
