What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and refine seasonal menus and presentation standards that align with member expectations and club standards
  • 2Lead culinary strategy across Main Dining Room, Café Met, bar, private events, and employee dining to ensure consistency
  • 3Design staffing structures, scheduling standards, and performance expectations for kitchen leadership
  • 4Oversee food and labor cost controls, budgeting, forecasting, and procurement decisions
  • 5Partner with F&B leadership on pricing strategy and financial performance
  • 6Mentor and develop Sous Chef and Banquet Chef teams, driving a culture of professionalism and accountability
  • 7Monitor inventory, waste reduction, and kitchen efficiency to protect margin
  • 8Collaborate on banquet, event, and themed dining offerings to expand member engagement
  • 9Support compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and equipment maintenance standards
  • 10Contribute to long-term planning for Food & Beverage initiatives and capital improvements

Requirements9

  • 17+ years progressive culinary leadership experience in private clubs, hotels, or luxury hospitality
  • 2Prior Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef experience required
  • 3Strong financial acumen with food and labor cost control, budgeting
  • 4Proven ability to lead teams and implement systems rather than solely execute production
  • 5ServSafe Manager Certification or ability to obtain
  • 6Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • 7Preferred: Culinary degree or equivalent training
  • 8Private club experience and wine and food pairing knowledge a plus
  • 9American Culinary Federation certification (CEC or similar)
