Overview
You will own the CEO's calendar, inbox, and travel, ensuring zero conflicts and time-sensitive follow-through across Google Workspace and Slack. You will join a Series C healthcare operations startup backed by Goldman Sachs, working directly with the CEO and leadership team. This role demands calm under pressure, exceptional writing, and a bias for action in a high-growth environment. You will also shape the NYC office culture and team events.
What You'll Do8
- 1Own the CEO's calendar and inbox: prioritize scheduling, resolve conflicts, and follow through on email threads and external coordination.
- 2Coordinate complex domestic and international travel, including itineraries and logistics, plus selected personal logistics affecting the CEO's effectiveness.
- 3Prepare concise briefings before key meetings: context, decisions needed, and open questions.
- 4Maintain a clear tracker of commitments and decisions across the org, ensuring follow-ups happen without repeated CEO intervention.
- 5Lead preparation for the Weekly Leadership Sync, Monthly Executive Review, board meetings, and offsites.
- 6Drive selected cross-functional projects and improvements to systems around the CEO's office.
- 7Manage day-to-day NYC office operations: greet visitors, candidates, and guests; stock kitchen and office supplies.
- 8Plan team social events and culture-building moments, from small in-office touches to larger offsite logistics.
Requirements6
- 12-5 years in executive support, business operations, consulting, finance, executive search, legal, investor relations, or high-growth technology.
- 2Write clearly and concisely, notice details others miss, and stay composed when plans change.
- 3Persist without abrasiveness: comfortable with direct feedback and high standards.
- 4Ambitious and willing to challenge assumptions respectfully, without viewing executive support as beneath you.
- 5Not a fit if you prefer narrow structured responsibilities, wait for direction, avoid difficult follow-ups, or seek hybrid/remote work.
