What You'll Do11
- 1Provide thorough accurate and competitive cost estimates throughout design phases
- 2Determine proposal specifications by reviewing drawings and attending bid meetings
- 3Analyze historical cost data to inform future estimates
- 4Assist clients with design feasibility and cost data
- 5Prepare bid packages and coordinate RFP processes
- 6Develop trade scopes and perform takeoffs to mitigate cost risks
- 7Evaluate subcontractor proposals for scope and completeness
- 8Identify and qualify new subcontractors for bid coverage
- 9Create preliminary schedules and support superintendents
- 10Negotiate owner and subcontractor change orders
- 11Maintain documentation of working assumptions and records
Requirements5
- 15+ years building estimation using Spark and Airflow
- 2Construction Management degree or equivalent experience
- 3Design-build experience preferred
- 4Certification such as CPC Card or BCBA
- 5Project management certification or experience
