Estimator - Flooring
Overview
Estimator II overseeing pre-construction administrative and estimating tasks for flooring projects in Atlanta. Responsible for generating accurate estimates and managing daily workflow under VP supervision.
What You'll Do15
- 1Download construction documents from General Contractor websites and collect relevant data
- 2Organize work to ensure timely project completion
- 3Update estimating files with takeoffs and product pricing
- 4Prepare measure files according to SOP directives
- 5Compile project data and cost information throughout estimating cycles
- 6Perform digitized take-offs using RFMS Measure software
- 7Become proficient in company-specific estimating software
- 8Engineer flooring assemblies and compile bid estimates
- 9Manage workload to meet bid submission deadlines
- 10Monitor and summarize GC notifications regarding scope changes
- 11Follow up with clients on submitted bid pricing
- 12Assemble submittals including shop drawings and product data
- 13Track tasks and deadlines through reminders and follow-ups
- 14Conduct administrative pre-construction duties as directed
- 15Assist with department projects and tasks assigned by VP of Pre-construction
Requirements5
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Knowledge of AWS and Kubernetes
- 3Certification in CPC Card or BCBA
- 4Experience with React frameworks
- 5Proficiency in Python programming language
