Equipment Technician, Mechanical & Field Service
Overview
Own hands-on repair and field service for commercial dishwashing equipment at scale within a nationwide hospitality services provider. You will diagnose, repair, and test equipment both in the field and shop, while traveling to customer sites. You will cross-train on installations to broaden your skill set and progress into a stable career path in a collaborative team.
What You'll Do10
- 1Diagnose and repair commercial dishwashing equipment in the field and shop
- 2Disassemble machines identify faulty components and rebuild units to working condition
- 3Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues
- 4Respond to service calls and resolve issues on-site with minimal downtime
- 5Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper performance and reliability
- 6Use a variety of hand and power tools daily
- 7Maintain a clean and safe work environment including cleaning equipment after service
- 8Safely operate a company vehicle while traveling to customer locations
- 9Cross-train on equipment installations and route-based service to expand your skillset
- 10Collaborate with teammates to ensure high-quality service on every visit
Requirements5
- 1Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving history
- 2Mechanical aptitude and comfort using tools
- 3Ability to work in a fast-paced physically active environment
- 4Capability to lift and move up to 70 lbs and navigate stairs as needed
- 5A strong work ethic positive attitude and willingness to learn
