Entry Level Technician, Tire & Auto Service
Overview
As an Entry Level Technician at Sullivan Tire, you will own vehicle maintenance repairs and tire services at a busy retail shop in Boston. You will handle mounting, balancing, and repair of passenger and light truck tires, plus oil changes and safety inspections. What You'll Do8
- 1Mount, dismount, balance, and repair passenger and light truck tires.
- 2Perform lube, oil, and filter changes on domestic and foreign cars.
- 3Conduct and document vehicle safety inspections.
- 4Replace headlights, fan belts, batteries, and wiper blades without supervision.
- 5Maintain a clean work area and dispose of waste products properly.
- 6Collaborate with store management to meet productivity and customer satisfaction goals.
- 7Follow internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- 8Take on additional duties as assigned.
Requirements6
- 11+ year of customer service experience in a retail environment.
- 2Ability to lift 40-50 lbs on a regular basis.
- 3Basic conflict resolution skills.
- 4Basic understanding of the automotive tire and auto service industry.
- 5Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- 6Team player attitude.
