Sales and Service Technician, Automotive Repair
Overview
You will own the customer experience at a Firestone Complete Auto Care location, balancing sales and service in a 75/25 split. You will assess needs, recommend tires and oil changes, and perform basic vehicle services while supporting store operations. This hybrid role builds your skills in customer service, sales, and automotive repair, with a path to management roles. What You'll Do8
- 1Sell tires and services by assessing customer needs through vehicle inspections and diagnostic conversations.
- 2Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks on a range of vehicles.
- 3Resolve customer issues with timely communication and follow-up to ensure satisfaction.
- 4Open and close the store, manage inventory, and maintain merchandising displays as needed.
- 5Learn all store systems including point-of-sale and inventory management software.
- 6Support the service manager as Manager-On-Duty during peak hours.
- 7Flex between front counter sales and back shop service based on daily demand.
- 8Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following safety protocols.
Requirements8
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- 3Customer service mindset with ability to build rapport.
- 4Basic mechanical aptitude with willingness to learn vehicle service tasks.
- 51+ years of retail sales experience preferred.
- 6Automotive experience a plus.
- 72-year degree or certification (e.g., ASE) a plus.
- 8Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
