Overview
We seek a motivated Entry-Level Diesel Mechanic to join our Minneapolis team. This role offers hands-on learning under a Master Truck Mechanic. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on company trucks. The position provides a clear path to develop diesel and truck repair expertise.
What You'll Do10
- 1Assist with preventive maintenance and repairs on company trucks and vehicles
- 2Diagnose mechanical and diesel-related issues
- 3Perform oil changes lubrication inspections and routine maintenance
- 4Support brake suspension steering cooling and other repairs
- 5Learn basic electrical and diagnostic troubleshooting
- 6Inspect vehicles and identify maintenance or repair needs
- 7Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
- 8Follow all company safety procedures and maintenance standards
- 9Collaborate with Master Truck Mechanic to develop mechanical skills
- 10Take on increasingly complex repairs as knowledge grows

- 1Mechanical aptitude and interest in diesel truck repair
- 2Willingness to learn and take direction
- 3Basic understanding of hand and power tools
- 4Strong problem solving skills
- 5Attention to detail reliable attendance and strong work ethic

- 7Technical school or diesel mechanics coursework
- 8Previous shop maintenance or mechanical experience preferred
