Overview
Lead inspection and diagnosis of diesel engines and related systems at Rosemont shop. Own preventive maintenance tasks and document all actions. Collaborate with technicians to resolve complex exhaust issues. Ensure workspace remains safe and organized.
What You'll Do7
- 1Perform comprehensive inspections and diagnostics on diesel engines and related systems
- 2Repair or replace key components including fuel injectors turbochargers and exhaust assemblies
- 3Execute scheduled preventive maintenance to optimize reliability and performance
- 4Accurately record all maintenance and repair activities
- 5Collaborate with fellow technicians to resolve challenging mechanical concerns
- 6Keep current with advances in diesel technology and industry best practices
- 7Maintain safety standards and keep work area tidy
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or equivalent formal diesel technical training preferred
- 2Proven hands-on experience as a diesel mechanic technician
- 3In-depth understanding of diesel engine systems and components
- 4Ability to interpret service manuals and read schematics accurately
- 5Strong diagnostic instincts attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- 6Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- 7Clear communicator and dependable team player
