Overview
Own the architectural vision for enterprise platforms in customer loyalty and reservation systems at a Miami-based organization. You will lead strategic architecture decisions across data and enterprise domains, collaborating with engineering teams to define roadmaps and standards. This 6-month contract to hire role requires onsite presence and offers a chance to shape modern architectures from day one.
What You'll Do8
- 1Define and communicate the target architecture for customer loyalty and reservation platforms, aligning with business goals.
- 2Lead architecture reviews and design solutions that integrate enterprise systems and data flows.
- 3Develop roadmaps for legacy modernization and cloud migration, focusing on scalability and security.
- 4Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical designs.
- 5Evaluate emerging technologies and make build vs buy recommendations for platforms.
- 6Drive governance and standards for API design, data modeling, and integration patterns.
- 7Mentor technical leads and architects to ensure consistent architecture practices.
- 8Deliver architecture artifacts, including diagrams, decision records, and presentations to stakeholders.
Requirements8
- 110+ years in enterprise architecture, with 5+ years in customer loyalty or reservation systems.
- 2Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, including microservices and serverless.
- 3Strong background in data architecture, including data lakes, warehouses, and real-time streaming with Kafka.
- 4Expertise in integration patterns, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architecture.
- 5Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; Master's preferred.
- 6Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to present to executives.
- 7Experience with TOGAF or similar architecture frameworks.
- 8Ability to work onsite in Miami for 6 months with potential for conversion.
Salary Insight
$90 - $110k per year
