Energy & Infrastructure EPC Associate Attorney, Construction Law
Overview
You will draft and negotiate EPC agreements for large-scale energy and infrastructure projects, including conventional, renewable, and nuclear sectors. You will work within a nationally recognized Energy & Infrastructure practice at an Am Law firm, advising owners, developers, contractors, and lenders. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on project financing and development. This role offers $235,000–$420,000 base salary and a path to partnership.
What You'll Do8
- 1Draft, review, and negotiate EPC agreements for major energy and infrastructure projects.
- 2Prepare and negotiate O&M, procurement, supply, and construction agreements.
- 3Advise clients on project development, construction, and execution phases.
- 4Represent owners, developers, contractors, and lenders in domestic and international transactions.
- 5Support projects in conventional oil and gas, renewable energy, nuclear power, and infrastructure.
- 6Identify and mitigate commercial and legal risks across the project lifecycle.
- 7Collaborate with teams on project financing, development, and commercial transactions.
- 8Provide practical advice on contract administration and project delivery strategies.
Requirements8
- 12–7+ years of construction law experience, ideally in energy or infrastructure.
- 2Experience drafting and negotiating EPC, O&M, or procurement agreements.
- 3Background in conventional oil and gas, renewable energy, or nuclear projects preferred.
- 4J.D. from an accredited law school.
- 5Active bar admission in the practice jurisdiction.
- 6Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- 7Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- 8High motivation and ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced practice.
