Overview
Direct Counsel leads national Energy & Infrastructure practice advising clients on complex engineering procurement and construction matters across conventional energy renewable energy and nuclear sectors. This role offers competitive compensation and dynamic work environment.
What You'll Do8
- 1Draft review and negotiate EPC agreements for major energy and infrastructure projects
- 2Prepare and negotiate operation and maintenance procurement supply and construction agreements
- 3Advise clients on all phases of project development construction and execution
- 4Represent owners developers contractors lenders and other project participants in domestic and international transactions
- 5Support projects involving conventional oil and gas renewable energy nuclear power and other infrastructure developments
- 6Identify and mitigate commercial and legal risks throughout project lifecycle
- 7Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on project financing development and commercial transactions
- 8Provide practical legal advice regarding contract administration and project delivery strategies
Requirements5
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 22–7+ years construction law experience preferably involving energy or infrastructure projects
- 3J.D. from an accredited law school
- 4Active bar admission in the jurisdiction where the attorney will practice
- 5Conventional oil and gas renewable energy nuclear experience strongly preferred
