Energy Efficiency Advisor
Overview
The Energy Efficiency Advisor owns outreach and education initiatives to advance the energy efficiency program for end customers contractors manufacturers distributors engineers architects and other professionals providing energy efficiency solutions. mcfa drives community impact through technical guidance and stakeholder collaboration.
What You'll Do12
- 1Learn and utilize CRM database for project and lead management
- 2Cultivate track and manage program leads diligently
- 3Oversee projects submitted by customers trade allies
- 4Work with assigned Project Coordinator to gather documentation for approval and closeout
- 5Validate and review project workbooks ensuring accurate technical information entry and make adjustments based on scope changes or inspections
- 6Place outbound calls to new and existing customers to meet assigned energy saving targets
- 7Develop and deliver program presentations
- 8Collaborate with building owners property managers and facility engineers to provide advice and assist participation in energy efficiency programs
- 9Understand strategic direction of energy efficiency programs and customer business activities
- 10Discuss technical elements of energy consuming equipment such as lighting HVAC and hot water systems
- 11Enter data into spreadsheets and databases to determine energy savings and manage current projects while coordinating with Energy Engineers
- 12Provide written summary reports directly to customers and program managers
Requirements11
- 1New Jersey resident living in New Jersey
- 2Associates or B.S. in Business or Technical field or 5+ years experience in sales account management or similar
- 31+ years experience working with energy efficiency or efficient products within utility government nonprofit or public agency
- 4Ability to decipher technical jargon and communicate it clearly to diverse audiences
- 5Strong written and oral communication skills
- 6Highly-polished demeanor with quick task transitions solid problem solving creativity and attention to detail
- 7Team player possessing positive attitude and effective cross team collaboration abilities
- 8Proficiency in MS Word Excel and PowerPoint
- 9Willingness to travel up to 50 percent of time
- 10Physical stamina for extended periods standing walking occasional climbing kneeling and field work under varied environmental conditions
- 11Reliable transportation driver’s license and clean record responsible for vehicle maintenance and fees
