What You'll Do11
- 1Administer treatments and medications safely and competently within scope of practice
- 2Review and implement patient care plans collaborating with RN patient family and healthcare team
- 3Collect comprehensive patient data under RN supervision including physical psychosocial environmental and developmental information
- 4Monitor patient status throughout shift reporting significant findings to the healthcare team
- 5Communicate care plan verbally during shift and shift reports
- 6Delegate appropriate tasks to unlicensed personnel ensuring demonstrated competence
- 7Transcribe and implement physician orders within scope of practice
- 8Provide patient education based on individual learning needs
- 9Maintain 95% medication and scanning compliance
- 10Read write and speak conversational English
- 11Utilize basic computer skills and Microsoft Office
Requirements9
- 1Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) from an allied health program or equivalent certification
- 2Basic Life Support CPR Advanced Cardiac Life Support Pediatric Advanced Life Support NIH Stroke Scale
- 3Physical requirements available via provided link
- 4Background screening including fingerprinting as mandated by Florida law
- 5Full-time day shift availability
- 6Ability to read write and speak conversational English
- 7Basic computer skills
- 8Education field of study from an allied health program
- 91+ year nursing experience preferred
