
Electronics Design Engineer, PCB & Industrial Automation
Overview
Own the full lifecycle of electronic system and PCB designs for industrial motor-driven products, from concept through launch. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance and reliability targets. This role offers hands-on work with Altium Designer, SPICE, and ARM microcontrollers, directly shaping next-generation products. You will drive design reviews and validation testing, making a tangible impact on product quality and manufacturability.
What You'll Do7
- 1Design PCB layouts and schematics for industrial motor control systems using Altium Designer.
- 2Simulate analog and digital circuits with SPICE to verify performance and signal integrity.
- 3Develop firmware for ARM-based microcontrollers in C to drive motor control algorithms.
- 4Lead design reviews and collaborate with mechanical and software teams to integrate electronics into products.
- 5Validate prototypes through rigorous testing with Oscilloscopes and Multimeters, documenting results.
- 6Drive products through certification testing for EMC/EMI compliance and safety standards.
- 7Coordinate with manufacturing partners to ensure design for manufacturability and smooth production ramp.
Requirements8
- 15+ years of experience in electronics design, with a focus on PCB layout and schematic capture.
- 2Proficiency with Altium Designer for schematic entry and board layout, including high-speed signals.
- 3Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design, including power electronics and motor drives.
- 4Experience with SPICE simulation tools for circuit analysis and verification.
- 5Knowledge of ARM-based microcontroller programming in C for embedded systems.
- 6Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, and Logic Analyzers.
- 7Familiarity with EMC/EMI design principles and testing environments.
- 8Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Salary Insight
$75 - $105k per year
