Electronic Security Systems Engineer - Honeywell Vindicator
Overview
Lead technical expert designing and implementing Electronic Security Systems for federal agencies. Own design integration and certification of access control intrusion detection and video surveillance systems across global sites. Drive compliance with DoD standards while mentoring engineers and ensuring mission critical operations.
What You'll Do11
- 1Design engineer and implement Electronic Security Systems including access control intrusion detection and perimeter defense systems
- 2Act as SME on Honeywell Vindicator Command and Control Intrusion Detection System and Access Control System
- 3Develop engineering documentation including system layouts wiring diagrams and installation instructions
- 4Lead deployments for CONUS and OCONUS government facilities ensuring regulatory compliance
- 5Conduct site surveys risk assessments and system acceptance testing
- 6Collaborate with project management logistics and in-country teams to meet cost schedule and performance objectives
- 7Maintain cybersecurity compliance per NIST SP 800-171 DFARS 252.204-7012 and CMMC requirements
- 8Provide technical input for proposals cost estimates and international bids
- 9Train and mentor junior engineers and field technicians in secure system design testing and sustainment
- 10Perform triage on system problems resolve issues analyze data and implement workstation extensions
- 11Ensure overseas implementations meet U.S. federal security and host nation regulations
Requirements5
- 1Minimum 10 years experience designing integrating and sustaining Electronic Security Systems for U.S. government defense programs
- 2Vindicator Certification with hands-on configuration commissioning experience
- 3Strong understanding of DoD DHS and DOS design and security criteria
- 4Proficiency in networked IP-based security systems structured cabling and integrated command platforms
- 5Familiarity with secure communications encryption and cybersecurity practices
