Electrical Test Equipment Technician, FieldCore - Generator Tooling
Overview
Own the inspection, testing, and preparation of generator toolkits for site outages at scale. Support tooling assembly, calibration, and quality checks to ensure flawless delivery. Work with a safety-first warehouse team and experienced electricians to learn and apply electrical codes and test procedures. This role blends hands-on repair, documentation, and proactive coordination for outage readiness.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build and assemble generator toolkits for outages and ensure calibration certificates are included
- 2Inspect, test, and diagnose generator components across AC and DC systems
- 3Coordinate, label, and package tooling for each outage project to meet tool center schedules
- 4Maintain inventory and restock parts while ensuring all kits pass quality checks
- 5Support preventative maintenance and on-call emergency troubleshooting as needed
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 20-2 years of experience in tool handling or a warehouse environment
- 3Electrical schooling or electrical experience required
- 4Experience with AC and DC voltages including single and three phase up to 900KVA DC up to 120kV
- 5Basic computer skills for processing documents and spreadsheets
