Noblis seeks an Entry Level Electrical Engineer to join the team in San Diego. The role focuses on developing and maintaining electrical components for Navy systems. This position offers a chance to grow while supporting critical missions.
What You'll Do11
- 1Assist in design and development of electrical systems and components for Navy systems
- 2Perform circuit design modeling and simulation to ensure system performance and reliability
- 3Create and review electrical schematics and write technical documentation
- 4Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers and program managers
- 5Support prototype development and production unit builds with testing and troubleshooting
- 6Contribute to design reviews and technical presentations
- 7Coordinate with senior engineers for guidance and mentorship
- 8Design and analyze electrical and electronic systems including defensive systems and ATE
- 9Ensure compliance with NAVY shipboard power and interface standards
- 10Troubleshoot failed electronic components and conduct root cause analysis
- 11Maintain well‑directed independent work in a team environment
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred or Associate’s Degree plus three years relevant experience
- 2Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
- 3US citizenship required
- 4Familiarity with System Engineering concepts
- 5Ability to interact directly with customers to extract requirements and report status
- 6Knowledge of electrical design documentation and technical data packages
- 7Understanding of uninterruptible power supply functions and power calculations
- 8Experience with digital multimeter oscilloscope and power quality analyzer tools
- 9Knowledge of NEMA and military wiring standards
- 10Exposure to NAVY shipboard power environments
- 11Strong written communication skills for reports and technical documents
