Electrical Engineer, Mobile Drilling Controls
Overview
Lead design development and support of electrical control systems for mobile drilling equipment. Own 12V and 24V control systems and contribute to next-generation architectures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust electro-hydraulic control solutions.
What You'll Do11
- 1Design develop and maintain 12V and 24V electrical control systems for mobile drilling and construction equipment
- 2Create and revise electrical schematics harness drawings and wiring diagrams
- 3Support development of controller logic using Codesys and related control platforms
- 4Assist with CAN Bus network design diagnostics and integration across subsystems
- 5Investigate electrical failures and conduct root cause analysis in manufacturing and field environments
- 6Develop corrective and preventative actions to improve product reliability
- 7Validate new electrical designs before production release
- 8Partner with production teams to implement and troubleshoot electrical systems during assembly and testing
- 9Provide technical support to service technicians and customers regarding electrical and controls issues
- 10Assist with commissioning troubleshooting and startup of new and existing equipment
- 11Maintain engineering records schematics and design standards
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor's degree in Engineering Discipline EE
- 25+ years of electrical engineering experience with 12V–24V systems in industrial manufacturing
- 3Knowledge of CAN Bus/CAN communications
- 4Strong experience designing and troubleshooting electrical control systems wiring harnesses sensors relays actuators
- 5Experience reading and supporting PLC controller logic and schematics
