Overview
You will own electrical engineering support for DoD programs at Hill AFB, Utah, ensuring systems meet operational safety and effectiveness standards. You will work within the C3BM division, supporting Electronic Warfare, Range Systems, and Command and Control systems. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers and technical experts to deliver mission-critical capabilities. This role stands out for its direct impact on warfighter readiness and the breadth of systems you will touch.
What You'll Do10
- 1Conduct system engineering reviews across the lifecycle, from concept to operations, for C3BM systems.
- 2Translate DoD user requirements into system requirements for design and development of subsystems.
- 3Review system design baselines to assess architecture and interoperability, ensuring alignment with mission needs.
- 4Analyze engineering change proposals and vendor submissions, providing recommendations to the Government POC.
- 5Perform life cycle cost evaluations on proposed systems and components.
- 6Support test and evaluation activities, including planning, execution, and results assessment.
- 7Evaluate test resources and facilities, coordinating scheduling with program office objectives.
- 8Monitor and report on T&E efforts, ensuring adherence to timelines and requirements.
- 9Contribute to technical plans by reviewing documents, participating in working groups, and tracking risks.
- 10Provide support for Foreign Military Sales efforts as required.
Requirements9
- 13+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with 3+ years in the DoD, or 7+ years of directly related experience with 5+ years in DoD.
- 2Bachelor’s degree in related field, preferably from an ABET Accredited university.
- 3Active Secret clearance and US citizenship.
- 4Experience in electrical circuit analysis, RF chain sub-specialties including antenna design, high-power transmitters/amplifiers, and receiver processing.
- 5Hands-on experience in test and evaluation of electrical systems.
- 6Understanding of DoD acquisition processes, technical data package development, and configuration management.
- 7Familiarity with Electronic Warfare and air combat training systems.
- 8Knowledge of range infrastructure architectures and systems.
- 9Experience with Foreign Ground Radar technology and applications.
