EHS Technicians Field Based
Overview
ERM seeks motivated hands-on technicians to support a key technology client onsite in Phoenix AZ. This full-time split-schedule role offers 12 month term with day and night shifts. Ideal candidate has experience implementing OSHA requirements SOPs HSA plans JHA emergency response and contractor safety management. Must understand manufacturing safety waste management environmental reporting and chemical safety.
What You'll Do13
- 1Manage and update Daily 6s Safety Audit Log monitor correct and track issues until closed
- 2Identify follow-up corrective actions to close audit findings
- 3Maintain accurate records analyze data in excel edit and present high quality presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint
- 4Utilize Outlook and TEAMS for communication calendar management and scheduling meetings
- 5Provide weekly activity reports to EHS Managers and Senior Specialists
- 6Support and attend Safety Committee Meetings and Safety Walks monthly or as needed
- 7Assist with near miss incident investigation process upon request by Client EHS personnel
- 8Verify all Drager's and PPE is being correctly utilized organize shark cages with required supplies
- 9Be the voice of the engineer for safety needs escalate issues and provide improvement ideas and feedback to Site Sr EHS Specialist weekly
- 10Support client desire to improve safety performance by providing training field coaching and targeted EHS assessments
- 11Develop EHS compliance procedures plans permits and reports
- 12Support ERM Partners and Project Managers to effectively manage and deliver projects
- 13Build strong collaborative relationships with other ERM employees
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or equivalent required bachelor’s degree is a plus
- 21 to 3 years of experience providing EHS support with an emphasis on health and safety
- 3Familiarity with Six Sigma safety methods
- 4Proficient in various Microsoft Programs
- 5Existing certification or working towards CIH CSP/ASP certification a plus but not required
- 6OSHA 30 or willingness to obtain required
- 7Demonstrated understanding of regulatory compliance and reporting processes
- 8Requires use of Tyvek bunny suit as part of standard protective gear in controlled environments
- 9Effective written verbal communication and organization analytical skills experience recording writing detailed technical data and reports a plus
- 10Valid driver’s license and good driving record
